Metafor Design Studio collaborates with brands on the development of furniture and devices — from early concept to market-ready products. Since 2014, the studio has been creating solutions that combine strong ideas with technical precision, guiding projects through concept development, prototyping, engineering documentation, and final implementation.

 

By leveraging advanced production technologies, the studio focuses on designing products that are innovative, efficient, and ready for manufacturing. Sustainability, ergonomics, and clarity of form are treated as integral parts of the design process, not as afterthoughts.

 

The studio specializes in two demanding yet complementary fields: furniture and devices. Each requires a different mindset, but both demand deep technical knowledge and a refined sense of usability and aesthetics. Wojciech Mierzwa — founder of Metafor Design Studio and an AD100 honoree — together with Marcin Juszczyk brings extensive experience in comprehensive device and machine design.

The studio’s work has been presented at international fairs in Frankfurt, London, Cologne, Verona, Warsaw, and Milan. Metafor Design Studio’s strength lies in production-friendly, sustainable design and in addressing technological challenges throughout the entire design process.
